Sexing fire skinks
This is what I read in Reptiles magazine, Quote "Adult male fire skinks tend to be larger, broader and and heavier-bodied than females. The male's tail base is also wider, and the tail tapers much more gradually. Males housed with other males often bear telltale scars of fighting on the tail, limbs and back, and these can be used to identify sex as well."
I hope that helps to answer your question!
One more thing beautiful skinks! Seeing them makes me more excited about me getting my fire skinks in a few weeks.
