A little late to the party - you're probably in your procedure now! Thinking of you, and hoping everything goes textbook smooth!

I would expect contact outside of immediate family to take a bit more time after valve replacement. He should be feeling pretty tired. I hope all went well and he should be in recovery for about a week.

Yeah, but I still kind of feel like I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear how he is doing.

Just got home today! When they told me yesterday that I might be going home I thought they were nuts. How ever considering what I went through, I feel fairly decent.

My poor wife had to watch me have a fairly violent episode coming out out anesthetize. I only remember nurse saying wife was there but I couldn't see her and don't remember anything until a few hours later off off tube.

Apparently kicking and struggling with wild look on face. She said I became calm but also there was nothing there in my eyes. I was out.

First 48 extreme pain with no movement. Second 48 much better with meds at every 4 and 6 hour mark. Just a brief update. Wife and 2 of my girls here helping and son in law put up some banister's and got some needed items. Thanks for all concerns.
