It’s that time of the year, pumpkins are everywhere! Why don’t you put down that gross pumpkin beer and buy a pumpkin-headed Sumatran short tail python instead??
These little guys were captive born here and are looking awesome. The pumpkin (or orange) headed Sumatran short tail python is the same species as the black blood python (Python curtus). They are separated in their native range; the larger more overall black individuals are from the Southern coast of Sumatra whereas the smaller orange headed individuals are from the North Western area.
We are asking between $300-400 depending on sex and overall appearance of the individuals. They are almost all switched over to thawed hopper mice and weanling rats.
