Help with sexing

I thought this young snake was a girl but am having second thoughts. Need some experianced eyes here

The amount of pressure you are using to pop the "hemipenes" out is causing the whole organ to turn red, you need to roll out the hemipenes by rolling the tail until they pop out.

I'm inclined to say it looks female by the white nub in the middle of the organs.

AGREED,you do not have to apply that much pressure,i can see from the photo of your left thumb you pushing to hard.

I had no idea! I had seen this other sexing video and the guy said you have to apply quite a bit of pressure. Thanks for the video! Off to watch it now!

Watched that video, helped a lot. I popped her properly and got a definite female. But now i'm confused about my lesser boy. He popped a female. Heres a pic of him. And sorry if it looks like I put to much pressure, I was fighting with my mom because she was grossed out and my 2yr old sister was screaming 'I wanna see the picture!' so I was really tense. But those bright red horn things were bright red when i popped him/her with very little pressure so I think thats just the color of them.

Still applying too much pressure, making the whole organ turn bright red, but that's a male I believe.
Females have the white nub sticking up in-between the glands.

The thumb on the head side of the cloaca should do nothing more than stopping the organ from moving.
The thumb on the tail end should be about a half inch from the opening and taking the tail and rolling it up towards the head. Gently but lightly you should be able to pop the hemipenes out just doing the rolling motion with very little pressure.

kinda cringed a bit on that second pic, the organ looks very irritated, I would give her a rest and then try again either tomorrow or the next day. I voted female and so far thats still what I see. My opinion

I have just invested in a probing kit. I think popping is to complicated for me. Off to watch Ralph Davis's video on probing!
