The beginning to now - BP room

5 years In the making and here I am. Started with one stackable cage system and a homemade rack. Five years later all freedom breeder rat breeding systems. Vision, ars, and some racks I built. Let me know what you think?

haha the green was extra paint we had it was bare walls before that......haha....need to change it but thats just a bear with all the stuff in it. I like to think of it as them thinking they are in africa.....lol jk. that is my way of justifying it. hahah

thanks for the comments its work in progress thats for sure.

Hey thanks. I saw you are in Dallas. What do you keep? I always like knowing what options are available without shipping? Thank you for the comment. It is def a work in progress but thats why they call it a hobby bc it never stops...... ahaha

The more I look at it, the more I kinda like the green. Heck, who am I to judge? Mine's bright, tropical blue.

Looks good so far. Do you find that the curtains keep out some of the rodent stink and dust?

rat curtains

The curtains in front of the rat racks are great. I have for a long time tried to cut down on dust and smell to an extent. My dust has dropped probably atleast 75% and smell probably 30%. Smell is smell it goes through anything if it is strong enough. I also have an exhaust fan inside of it exhausting out every hour and it runs for 15 min. I love the addition. They are double layered and off set 50% so it works great and the access to tubs is like there is no curtain there at all.
