Enclosure?

Is it best to house my new 4 months 10inches ackie monitor in a smaller enclosure for handling purposes? Right now he is in 40g with lot of hides and tunnels.

4O is fine. the small cage thing is a myth. As long as there are plenty of hides they well use every inch of the cage and with good hides feel secure. suggestion get ride of glass tanks. too much humidy escapes.
