Deep fried broccoli

I know, right
I was making fried chicken and had some leftover coating (Italian breadcrumbs) so I dipped broccoli florets straight from the freezer in egg, rolled them in the crumbs, and deep fried them. They were delicious but you shouldn't eat stuff like that.....

The Japanese seem to think it's OK in tempura, so why not?

It's like you read my mind. I fried up some peanut butter oreos tonight after dinner. Those things are rich, can't eat more than two in a sitting.

And deep fried pickles are the .

I'm pretty much a fan of anything fried.

The local Albertson's folded a few years back. I have two huge jars of baby dills, would they do?
I'm curious, I would have never tried them except for y'all's recommendations.
Is it just a egg dip/flour coating?
