Oh, but something tells me this isn't a democracy here.

It wasn't me that gave you the negative karma. That is strictly between you and the members themselves. Honestly, I rarely ever use the karma system myself. When I do, it is usually just to nuke someone into oblivion that was using the negative karma against particular people he or she did not like and got way carried away with it.

My suggestion is to just do the "stiff upper lip" thing, take it as a lesson learned, and move on. Holding grudges never really proves to be healthy and productive in life.
