scale missing

I just got a beautiful blonde pastel today. It's missing the scale on the tip of it's nose, the one right in the middle of the upper front lip. She was a little bloody but the weird thing was I couldn't find the scale in the snake bag anywhere. Any way I was wondering what would be some recommendations for treatment. I have some Neosporin LT and some Bacitracin in my medicine cabinet. Also I'm told they will eventually grow back. That is good.

Thanks,

Steve

Use either topical treatments on it, and keep her on paper towels to make sure she stays clean and to lessen the chances if it getting infected.

I'd just use a very light coating to make sure she doesn't ingest any when she tongue flicks.

Sounds like she really wanted out of that bag and into your house!

Post some pics of her when you get a chance?

Thanks LakeSide. I've put a light coat of Bacitracin on her. What do you think, once a day enough until it darkens up? Heck I tied to add a pic of her here but I dunno it doesn't seem to work. Ugggggh!

I'd clean and re-apply a couple to three times a day if possible. That way you know she hasn't rubbed it off while you were away and clean is always good!
I'm having camera troubles so I know what you mean in a round about sort of way. Try uploading your picture to a file hosting server like Photobucket (it's free) then linking the URL for the pic in your post. That works fine for me.

Hi Lakeside,

The girl appears fine. Thanks. I did the photobucket thing and started adding pic. Here's a link to a pic of her. Let me know if it worked

Oh! She is gorgeous!

I'm glad she's okay for you.

I'm going to go stare at her some more now!
