As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Iowa Herp Society show?
Anyone heard much about this one, on the 14th (this Sunday)? I had marked down the date from their website, but haven't gotten any emails about it...or seen anything here...and then noticed there's a KC show on that date. Is the one in Des Moines still taking place? Anyone going if so?

I'm going! I went last year, it's really small but I'm 7 months pregnant and don't feel like driving three hours to KC or anywhere else for that matter  I heard it used to be a lot bigger, but I don't think they do enough advertising to get people there so not a lot of vendors come. We Iowans should support our local show...I've been trying to invite as many people as possible to try and get it to grow a bit. Anyways, I'm rambling....maybe I'll see you there! My hubby and I will be there around 1:00ish. It goes from 10am-4pm.

Cool!!
Yeah, I hadn't seen any advertising at all, so was beginning to wonder....does anyone have a vendor list at all?
I think I'm going to actually be able to get there, I just have to figure out how to get it to work around my weird schedule. I'll more than likely be there early in the day though, as I have to be to work Sunday night.
