Woodpecker seemingly having fun building a nest

There is a dead nut tree in front of the house that I've been planning on taking down, but now it looks like I am going to have to hold off for a while. This guy is working too hard for me to put an end to all his hard work and leave him having to seek out another tree to make into a home.

Excellent video Rich. Had a woodpecker go at the tree across from my home a few years ago. Almost gave me a headache after a couple hours. Don't know how they keep at it. Thanks for posting!

A few days after posting this video and not getting any comments on it, I had to watch it again to see if I had something embarrassing or non-PC in it that no one wanted to call to my attention.

Thanks for letting me know I didn't do something awful with it.
