(GT Type C x Type A) Rhacodactylus leachianus - Subadult Pair

Any further questions please call or text 408-394-5410 or email 2aschnell@gmail.com

I purchased both of these animals from Philippe De Vosjoli a couple years ago. The male is a 3/4 Type C x 1/4 Type A (Yate x Poindimie) and the female is a 1/2 Type A x 1/2 Pine Island locality animal. Both of these animals should get fairly large and have been growing well over the years. The male is about 2 years and 3 months old and the female is about 5 months younger. I can get exact hatch dates for anyone if they'd like. The male is about 215 grams and the female is about 155 grams as of right now. I also have proof of lineage for anyone interested.

The whole idea with this pair is that they're beautiful animals whose offspring will be beautiful and have the potential to get HUGE (like 15-16 inches long and over 400 grams). Type Cs are the largest known leachianus, reportedly reaching over 17 inches and over 450 grams as mature adults. Type A animals are the second largest, with definite proof that they can get enormous; the heaviest Type A on record is a Yate locality animal owned by Drew Stevens that weighs ~500 grams, and the longest Type A on record is a pure Poindimie owned by Steve Cemelli which is ~16 inches long. Pine Island animals are the largest of the offshore island localities which also happen to bring some beautiful patterning into the mix. So as you can imagine, the genetic heterogeneity created by combining Type C genes with Type A and Pine Island locality genes should yield some of the most genetically stable, large, patterned animals on the market today.

In addition, temperament wise these are the nicest leachianus I've ever owned. They've been handled regularly ever since they were about 6 months old and are sweet as can be, the male in particular. This is ideal if you've been wanting to get into the big GTs but haven't wanted to risk getting bitten or having to deal with a nasty/mean animal!

Asking $2,800 shipped for the pair
