This species is extremely rare. This rare crab is believed to be evil by superstitious locals who think they only come down from the hills in the rainy season to eat corpses in graveyards. ONLY two have ever been collected on Barbados for the commercial trade in the last decade. One small one was shipped to Europe a few years ago. We had ONE MONSTEROUS-SIZED adult. female that arrived last week. She sold for $125. The pic link above shows the actual monster. We hope to get a few more of these in the near future.
