It will be based on a combination of the snake's size, the size of the prey item, and his willingness to take more, lol. To quantify it, I weighed my 05 females a while back...sizes ranged anywhere from about 150g-350g. I have been feeding primarily med sized adult mice (what I had the most of in the freezer). Any of the the ones over 200g could take a large adult with ease. 250g can, and have, taken 2 med. 300g+ have been converted to small rats. I don't go by weights when I make the change, it is all based on the factors noted above...but I thought it might help to put sizes to things. (Honestly, I don't own a scale small enough to weigh the little buggers, even if I was inclined to do it regularly...it's been on my list of things to do for some time, but never important enough for me to followup on. Maybe this year, after the babies come, lol)
