this is a pretty stupid and irresponsible thing to do at one of the worst times for our hobby IMO.....Secondly the fact that he is thinking about dumping any captive unhealthy animals into the environment is just disturbing......who knows what may he may introduce into the natural population and the environment and what consequences might come from it???

Ummmm, I hadn't thought about it from that perspective, only from the saving of the lives of the snakes.

Hey Steve

You'll have to pardon my ignorance when it comes to searching the forums, but could you possibly post a link to the original thread.

thanks

Eric

:/ Wow...I dont understand why anyone would do that. Its so dumb.
There are tons of ways to find homes for them, even if they are imperfect.
Whatever the case may be, I highly doubt its legal even if they are local. Arizona has AZ Kings local, but the police will be damned if you even tried to release even a local caught one. Leave the nature where it is and leave the domesticated where it is.

Sorry, but I have already addressed this elsewhere, and see no reason to duplicate my answers here. You are welcome to view this existing thread, however, and take my answers as needed from that thread.

I was really pissed when I saw the original post on cs.com. I cant understand how anyone would think posting this on an open forum when this industry/hobby is under fire is ok. Especially in Florida!
Rich, I really wish you would stop and think about your actions and what this could potentially do to the rest of us who ARE NOT retiring and getting out of animals completely....
You were an industry leader and it feels like we just got a kick in gonads from you.....

Rich, why don't you hold an auction and donate the proceeds to USARK or PIJAC. This would help the hobby rather then possibly hurt it??
