Hopefully we can get a overall idea of everyone's opinons in a poll so that way we can see the numbers. Any complications let me know. I hope I covered everything. Good luck

you might edit the poll to make it so that you can vote for more than one thing. that way someone could vote for 50% mealies and 50% crickets or mainly mealies and other, etc.

If my breeder geckos will eat Superworms, then they get a staple of them. If not, they get a staple of mealies.

All of the geckos that I plan on selling get a staple of mealies.

I offer other insects occasionally as a treat, like crickets, silkworms, etc.

I feed a pretty even split of roaches and crix and then once or twice a week I offer silkworms. Only four of the six will eat silks. Once a month I offer waxworms. Again, only four of the six will eat them. Two of my leos just will not touch worms at all.

I would offer supers and mealies too but none of mine like them.

Have you tried tong feeding the superworms? That works wonders when trying to switch them over. Another thing you can do if that does not work is offer a live pinky mouse on tongs, if they eat the pink then at the next feeding offer a superworm on the tongs. This usually works if they do not take the superworm off the tongs right away.

I actually tong feed most of my geckos. I know, I know, "it's so bad for them, so unnatural (as if keeping them in small enclosures is natural LOL), it makes them fat, and lazy blah blah blah". Hey, I like to know exactly how many supers each gecko eats and when they refuse food (this usually indicates follicular development).

I would say 90% of my adult leos feed readily on supers. The other 10% eat mealworms. BTW I do offer crickets 2-3 times a month as well.

Mainly mealies over here, but I just got a shipment of supers in today! I don't know if I will completely switch over or not, but I am sure they will eat them. I have trouble with the mealies because the male wont eat out of his food bowl and the mealies aren't always active enough to catch his eye.

I mostly feed mealies gutloaded with cody's gutload...I also give pink mice once or twice a month (to adults).
