Wanted: Nephila clavipes "Florida Giant Golden Silk Orbweaver Spiders"
They are found at eye-level or higher in tall shrubs and pine/oak trees with 3'x 2' webs along forest edges, swamps, mangroves. They can also be common in suburbs in botanical gardens with tall shrubs/trees nearby. In Jan./Feb. part of the year, they are only in southern Florida most notably Collier, Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
