I was considering purchasing some Boaphile Drastic Plastics cages in the near future. I've seen them in person at the Daytona show and they look really nice. I was just wondering if any of you use them and what you think of them. Do they hold up well? Are they easy to clean?
I just wanted to get some opinions before I make a final decision.
  Thanks in advance,

Hey Chris,

I can't help you, because I haven't even seen them. I hope some folks jump in though because I was going to post an inquiry. I'm thinking of ordering Racks and arboreal caging. Are the arboreals nice? There not on the website yet.

I purchased one of the economy line, I think a 421d. 4'x2'x12" and it is very nice and well made. The top, back, bottom and front are 1 piece of moulded plastic, so cleaning is a snap. The only thing I do not like is the hardware, very functional, but not very attractive. With some other type of hdwe they would be great as showpieces

If you are looking for the best cage deal for your money contact Wes Harris from www.snakehut.com He has a new cage on the market and heavy duty 4 footers are under $200 shipped. I own a dozen of these and I am very pleased. Wes will actually get back to you you may not have the same luxury with boaphile. I posted some pics of my cages a couple weeks ago. Just do a search for Wes Harris or The Snake Hut to see them.

Good luck

I love my Boaphile cages, I have two of the 421d and one of the blanket box racks.  I think that they are wonderful.  Soon as I have money i'll buy more.

My wife and I recently purchased two racks from Boaphile Plastics. spam_Good points were the excellent construction. spam_Much stronger than the pictures on the web look. spam_The animals are much calmer and have fed better than ever once in these racks versus my old racks. I have the standard black which seems to really make them feel secure. spam_

Negative side. spam_Time from purchase to delivery. spam_He evidentally does not have a labor force other than himself and one other person, so you will have to wait several weeks for construction and delivery.

I would purchase from him again, and plan to do so next Spring. spam_

Sincerely,

James Bryan

Folks,

To be honest with you, my only regret is that I cannot afford them right now. They look like awesome cages and with a wide color selection(Lets see what competitors offer...mmmmmm , we have a choice of...white or....White! lol)
it makes it nice to use. The racks are equally awesome. As I said, if I had a choice I would set the whole room up in these, out fir the entire room with boaphile plastic cages and another room with nothing but fredom breeder rat and mouse racks....Oh...if I was only born *RICH* instead of good looking! lol

I just got four of the 421d's delivered today. spam_They are great, like james said they were a little slow after taking so many orders in Daytona. spam_I spoke to Jeff the other night and he has hired someone else to help him out so delivery should be much quicker. spam_I love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive high quality cage. spam_I plan on ordering some of the expandable cages soon. spam_
