Question morph/het question

Alright everyone. I'm not really a ball kind of guy, but I need some help here. A buddy of mine is looking to buy a mojave, and the person he was looking to buy from says that he has parents that are non-visual hets for mojave. I was just wondering if that was even possible in ball pythons. Sometimes genetics are wacky but that seems odd to me because as far as I know mojave is a co-dom gene right?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

No. Generally, it is stated that Mojave is a codominant trait.... Mojave is a visual het for a blue eyed leucistic (which is the homozygous form).

So you can't have a normal that will produce mojave?

Sure you can...sort of.
A normal can produce mojaves when bred to a mojave or mojave BEL.

But two normal looking snakes won't produce a mojave (allowing for the fact that the first one had to come from somewhere - a genetic anomoly - so it could theoretically happen...but nobody would accept the claim unless it could be solidly substantiated).

But not if both parents are normal in appearance.

Oops - I must have passed right over the last sentence of your first post - sorry about that.

Yeah, no such thing as a normal het for mojave as mojave is a visual het
