rescue savannah monitor

so yesterday we went on a journey to Flint to get a Savannah Monitor. To my surprise this guy is a real beauty. although im not sure if he is just a savannah because of his markings. all i know is what was written on the dog crate he came in, that he is 2 years old and that he bites..... which he doesnt do very often, and is really easy to work with. well i wanted your guys input because he doesnt look like any other savannah i've had

It looks like its mixed with a Black Throat, the coloration and the facial expression kinda says that to me, but i could be wrong.
