How to ship a tarantula?

Hi all.

I have no experiance with tarantulas. I got this one as a rescue to send to a friend who loves the things.

I found a site describing how to pack a tarantula properly for shipping, but which service should I use? Some places mentioned USPS, while others said FedEx. Some say 2 day shipping, others say overnight.

I don't want to spend tons shipping it out, since it's a rescue, and I don't have extra funds lying about really. But I want it to arrive safe and happy to be in it's new home too. So what's the experianced tarantula folks opinions?

Thanks in advance! It's almost facinating enough for me to one day consider thinking about keeping one.. maybe.

I used to regularly receive T's UPS Second Day Air and they were always fine. As long as they are packed properly in their deli cups with moist paper towel surrounding them on all sides where they cannot get bounced around and the weather is not too extreme then they should be fine.
