Male or Female?

I bought this gecko a few weeks ago. I was told it was a female, which is what I needed. Well I noticed today while handling that it has bulges and pores. I don't claim to be a gecko expert by any means, but it certainly looks male to me. I contacted the seller, and sent pics, but he's still claiming it's a female. I want to know what y'all think? I hope I'm not being had.

I haven't kept leopards before- but pores on cresteds usually mean you have a male. And those are some glowing pores.

Did a quick search: http://www.reptilecare.com/leopardgender.htm

From someone who doesn't have experience with leopards, I'd say it's a male.

I'm going with male too. Some ppl had solid results 'candling' leo's using a hi-powered led flashlight and/or iPhone flashlight.

Could you explain this more? Do you mean examining an adult with a flashlight? Or when they're in the egg? Either way sounds pretty cool.

Hatchlings to adults. I've never tried it myself with Leo's but I've seen others do it. Place a hi-powered LED light at the base of the tail on the dorsal side and hold the Leo so you can see his ventral size. A male will have two distinctive veins (redish dots/lines) going to his hemipenes. Females won't have any. I'll try to find a pic off the web.
