We have available captive bred King Rock Monitors (Varanus kingorum) hatched at our facility.
This species is an intriguing dwarf monitor species that makes a wonderful display species. They are inquisitive and constantly entertain with their explorations of their terrarium, social interactions, and hunting for small insects.
This species thrives in the terrarium with a good thermal gradient and basking spot, tight hiding spaces, access to a humid retreat (e.g., moistened substrate), quality lighting, and diet of small insects. With good care they reach maturity in less than 6 months at which point females begin producing clutches of 2-6 eggs about once a month.
Pictured here is a leucistic female, a normal and leucistic pair, and a few of the available babies.
