Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

General BS forum I guess anything is fair game in here. Just watch the subject matter doesn't get carried away too much.

Buffalo's animal shelter is celebrating a mid winter tradition.

The shelter held its fourth annual "Ground Dog Open House" on Saturday, featuring Lovejoy Lulu.

The female chihuahua was adopted from the shelter and now comes out to see her shadow.

Visitors could learn about animal adoption and even enjoy a few refreshments.

Of course, on this sunny day, Lulu's shadow came out.

Nope-just saw it on the local news and thought it was a cute story!

Personally, I have some issues with the Buffalo Animal Shelter, but it's about how they don't respond when called about an animal and how they pick and chose homes for their animals-giving preference to certain people.

I don't work at any shelters, but I support the work of my local SPCAs, and always adopt from them when I'm looking for a new animal.
