building incubator question

I am building my incubator. I have seen photos (of course I can't find them now) of putting foil under the heat tape. Is this needed? I have a 15w fan, 2ft of 11" heat tape and a herpstat and a little wine cooler (about 20"w x 18" deep and 26" tall. What am I leaving out? Thanks. Angela Adams

In with the new one



It is holding temps right now at 88.2 (the herpstat is at 89.2) Tomorrow I am going to put two of the egg containers (wish I had eggs to put in it) and see how things go. I need to get a new temperature gauge to see what the inside temps are in the egg containers.

:F Now in 3 day you can bring on the eggs, eggs. I can hold up to 4 clutches . rofl I have only 2 adult girls at breeding weight right now but think of of next year@!!!!

It looks great. I hope you get some viable eggs from the females to put in there
