Question

Can any one please tell what is this thing.. It is very leathry and I found it in my flowerpot just outside of my home in the morning.

It looks like an insect egg case formed of solidified foam. Can you contact a local entomologist by chance? Maybe even a professional yard maintenance person? If you want to keep it and see what hatches out that might be interesting.

Ya. You are right. This is like a foam and something like fluid inside it. I kept it in a safer place and waiting to see what comes out from this. I dont have any contact with any entomologist but yes i will ask with yard maintenance person surely. The size of this is big, around 2 times of hen egg. I am seeing it first time and am very surprised what is this..

It reminds me of a praying mantis egg sack. I’m not sure of the technical term... curious to see what comes of it.
