With 2 juvies, 5 babies, and 8 eggs (at the moment) incubating, I thought I'd go ahead and put up one. This baby is
out of Tornado and Fujita, hatched 5-2-2010, nightly eating gutloaded/dusted third grown crickets, baby dubia/hisser mixes from a bowl, mini mealworms (bowl), and once tiny silkworms (bowl). Don't think any of my youngest have licked at the offered CGD, but leftover crickets do until eaten. Last weighed 7.6 grams on 7-3-2010 when I cleaned the months old's nursery tank.
I did not start handling my oldest Tokays more than for tank cleanings until after they started stare begging at meal time and eating from tongs. They were about 15 grams when they started doing that, which should be another 2-3 months for the month olds. I just recommend letting them loose their fear of you on their own before handling or they could get too scared to eat.
