I just can't believe it!! What is wrong with society? I hope whom ever did it again will ROT!(Im asuming it was the same person as last time). I dont post here much, but I read a ton of posts and Neil, you seem like such a strong person. I would be INSANE by now!

What I mean is I think there is more to this. Maybe a crooked dealer with some idiots stealing what he needs! You seem to be easy prey. I know there is another herp shop down the road from you. have they had any thefts? If not maybe this is someone you know and knows you and your shop well! I know alot of Reptile shops in the Tampa bay area and they seem to not have the problems you are having, need to think about that.You need to cut loose some gaurd dogs there at night, they are better then any alarm system, alarms dont remove limbs upon entry! &nbsp;Again Sorry to hear about this! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Robert

Absolutely. Thefts would not exist if there was not a market for the items. Better yet if they have them sold even in advance.

I agree. Not only that but they know about the value of the animals they look for. But it could very well be someone that frequents the store, looks at the animals and even asks questions about them.

It seems to me these were not random burglaries. They are targeted to a specific store/person. Maybe because Neil carries the best reptiles or maybe there is something else behind it. IMHO there was money involved (or expensive animals for that matter), but at the same time they were slightly tainted with a "vendetta" style.

Neil, I'm not so sure the barbed wire is a good idea. I'm sure it would be very amusing to find somebody's shorts and maybe their crown jewels dangling from the wire. I would find it even funnier if you had said jewels stuffed, mounted and displayed prominently over the cash register as a reminder of what happens to thieves. But you leave yourself open to a place on the 2002/2003 STELLA AWARDS. You remember Stella? With your luck I'm sure they'll find a totally sympathetic jury. And a real kick in the pants would be you having to return the jewels. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Sorry to hear about this. &nbsp;I have been off teaching the troops to kill people and break things for the last three weeks. &nbsp;Ask Richie about "Razor Wire" &nbsp;I can probably lay my hands on a roll or two. &nbsp;I don't raise pytons or boas, but you know I will load you up on Kings and corns if you need them later. &nbsp;Hope Angies helping the snakes.

I have not been on the BOI for some time reading anything due to my treatments and my health status.....but let me start by saying OMG!!! spam_If I can offer you any help what so ever, don't hesitate to let me know,.....friends do that even if long distant.
First off.....This Julie stated here that she frequented your shop on a regular basis, as Angie is her pal....I believe that Angie is being wrongfully fingered here....but Julie, on the other hand, with being in your store so often, and has befriended Angie, it seems that Julie would have all time to get any innocent info from Angie, in regards to your animals, ins/outs, hide spots for till, and the security in your store...
secondly....Julie claims that she is a security guard? spam_just to let her know that she can be terminated/charged for devulging any information that could be used in a case, whether she not be involved or not. spam_The same goes for the police that she seems to state that she speaks to often in regards to this matter....they can be terminated/disciplined by their government/city employers as it is against policy to devulge any information that could be linked to a case until that case has been closed....
Now, seeing all these little hints that Julie herself has spit out on this public forum, has anyone pulled Julie aside and hazed her for alibies.....her whereabouts on the night(s) in queston??
I have to say that I personally do NOT know Julie not do I have personally interest in her actions (unless they are wrong)
But Neil, like I said, I am truly sorry that you have been hazed wrongly in this matter, and if there is anything that I can offer you, hey let me know!!

Now...Julie IS NOT a security guard....she works the front desk at La Quinta Hotel where the OFF-DUTY COPS are the security guards who TALK TO JULIE when they're by the front desk! Now you get the scenario?? But, I DID call the cops today, but the Detective in charge of my case won't be in till tomorrow....I GUARANTEE YOU that I WILL be speaking to him tomorrow and SHOWING HIM this thread and Julie's posts....I'll let the cops take it from there!! I'M TOO PISSED to be of any help to them!!
I would, however, LOVE to know if MY FRIEND DAVE even KNOWS about this yet?? He hasn't come on here to either stick up for Julie (his girlfriend)! Or to STICK UP FOR ME!!! HIS FRIEND!!
