Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

>>Sorry to hear of your losses. Stuff like that really pisses me off...!...and is reason #1 why I do not invite the public into my life / home / collection. I don't sleep with a .44 under my pillow (too lumpy) but I do have GLOCK full of hollowpoints discretely attached to my headboard. Of course any potential intruder would first have to bypass two finely tuned Jack Russle Terriorists to get to me, to get to my collection. "Gee, officer - I must have been in fear of my life because that's why the SOB died of blood loss from having his balls chewed off, see...honest".
Neil, a suggestion = buy a dog. They are legal in most States, even those with watered down 2nd Ammendment attitudes...TW<<

Like I said, anything, anytime. You just say it and VOILA done.. And as for Julie, makes you wonder huh?? And as for Dave, if he is a friend, he will contact you. With Julie being a girlfriend, he may be stuck between love and loyalty.....loyalty always wins in the end if it was true loyalty.
He may in fact not know which way to go....hmm....but time will tell....and the fact of you going to the police, good for you!!! Damn those who did this to you, and if this turns out to be a lead, then so be it!! And I would like to be in line to take a turn at the cane.....
Take care
Beth

I don't know if I missed it, but how do these people keep getting in? I read something where you said you were going to brick over the windows, or put barb wire in the ceiling. My store got burglarized about 2 years ago when we were in a small strip mall. It turned out the guy who owned a dry cleaning place next store climbed through the ceiling tiles, over the partition, and into my store, and lowered himself down, and tried to steal my cash register and some other animals. The funny part was I had deadbolts on the front and back door, where you need a key to open them from the inside and outside. So he was stuck. He made a mess of my store trying to get back into the ceiling, but he couldn't find anything to boost himself up that high. So the next day I went to work at around 7, as I was walking towards the door I saw my store trashed through the window. So I called the cops. They came in, and found the guy hiding in my storage closet. I never would have thought that he would have done something like that, because he always seemed so nice. He said he was afraid of snakes he would run in the other direction if I had one out and he came into my store, but he was trying to steal a few pythons from me. So Neil, its something to think about. Maybe its someone who puts on a "act" like they are afraid of certain things that were stolen so you wouldn't think they did it.

>>Ritchie...
My easy access GLOCK is a 9mm with a pre-ban 17 round clip (and another for backup in case I miss with the first 17 hollowpoints -lol...!<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' '>. spam_I have an M-3 Tactical Light attached to round out this package. spam_Although the bulk of my arsenal is secured in a huge safe on one side of my bed (Forma Incubator is on the otherside) I also keep available my primary Carry Weapon, a .357 snub nosed S&W "Bodyguard" with a Crimson Trace Laser Sight = sweet package. spam_That said I have become partial to my .45 Wilsons of late = all effective tools for watching over my family and Herps in the home. spam_But I still say the dogs (JRTs = Jack Russel Terriers) are the most effective intruder detourant (wish this forum had spell check). spam_I've been in this home for 15 years and the previous owner for 35...always dogs in the house...never a break in. spam_Years ago all my neighbors (and I mean ALL) were burgularized over a few year stretch dispite their fancy security systems and cameras. spam_Now most have dogs and since then no break ins where in place. spam_Thus, I was serious when suggesting to Neil that he get a guard dog for his store...and I'm not talking about a pup who greets every customer with a familiar smile - need one that haunts the place at night with a loud bark and an attitude for making de-balling intruders...TW<<

Hi! I know you dont know me and I'm new to the web with reptiles but I would Just like to say sorry to hear the terrible news. I hope you find out who this jagoff is. If there's anything I can do to help let me know. I've never had anyone try to steal any of my reptile in the past 25yrs and consider myself lucky. I always kept one of my big monitors on the loose. lol. Take it easy and hopefully you find that jag that did this to you.
Best Wishes,
Jim Polacheck

Yup
I agree with TW
you can't fire a gun when you are not home although some of us seem to have an arsenal
Dogs work , have one I do,and bark he does. It also pays sometimes to be close nit with some neighbors[ya know you watch mine and I'll watch yours]
They say the bigger the dog the better, but even small dogs can sound a loud alarm
I wish you luck Neil
