Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Ever seen this on a pied?
This is a pied I'm thinking of adding to my collection. Have you seen a mark like this before?
I'm sure it's not genetic, but it's really cool looking.

I've seen similar marks, but nothing quite so black. Is it from the Pied Peddler? Several of his snakes lately have had something like that on them.
I picked up a female from him last year that had a spot like that. It's gotten lighter as she's gotten bigger, but it still looks pretty cool next to that light spot.
Pics of her from today at 700 grams, and then a hatchling shot (in shed).

It's not from Pied Peddler (although I did get my kick'en black pastel pied from him). That spot on her is awesome.

I found some more info on this. Apparently every so often they are born with a black patch, but it almost always gets lighter as they age.
