Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. I purchased two Japanese Fire Belly Newts several months ago. I keep them in a freshwater tank with a built in filter behind a false rock/log wall. The newts would sometimes get in back and we would find them and get them out. About 2 months ago one of them disappeared. I tried to find him in the filter area and didn't see him. Today, I found him back in the tank just outside of the return screen. He is very emaciated for obvious reasons. I tried to get him to eat, but he didn't give the bloodworms a second look (or a first for that matter). Any and all suggestions on what to do next would be greatly appreciated!
