McDonald's must pay obese employee $17,500

Quote:
SAO PAULO — A Brazilian court ruled this week that McDonald's must pay a former franchise manager $17,500 because he gained 65 pounds while working there for a dozen years.

The 32-year-old man said he felt forced to sample the food each day to ensure quality standards remained high, because McDonald's hired "mystery clients" to randomly visit restaurants and report on the food, service and cleanliness.

Sad that people no longer have to take responsibility for their own actions.

How sad is that...and that BS verdict wasn't even HERE. Guess we can't shake our heads and say Only in America. I hope McDonalds contests the decision, and wins...then stops feeding their employees, as a result.

What was it.... 3 or 4 years ago that the fat kid sued McDonalds because he stopped by there on the way home from school every day and got a couple big macs. It was their fault he was fat... and I think he won.

**shakes head**

This country is going to hell.
