Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

clicking sound?
the other day i was feeding my leo and i herd some kind of clicking noise wen i was feeding him...then today wen i was holding him i herd it again. it seems to happen wenever he opens his mouth but not all the time...anyone no wats going on??

Some of my higher Strung
make a sound like that. Sort of like a little grunting. Its actually very funny. My Male ARC constantly does it when I pic him up. Its a sign of aggitation.

I am not sure then. I am sure however that other leopard gecko owners are familiar with the vocalization that leopards sometimes engage in. They can be very vocal when handled specially if they are a little WIREY! I am sure I am not the only one that has heard them vocalize. Anyway maybe your gecko needs closer evaluation. Does this occur on exhalation? Have you ever heard a male rattle his tail during the breeding season?

A few of mine make a clicking noise when I hold them, not always but sometimes. Ity sounds like a bunch of clicks right in a row. Like Chad said, it is just them vocalizing there annoyance with what ever you are doing to them, be it holding them, etc.
