It's so hard to pick a fave T! I guess my all time favorite would have to be Avicularia versicolor, with Pamphobeteus antinous a close second.

My favorite would have to be the ones that live in OTHER peoples houses.

I do like the look of the blue ones though.

That sounds like something my Mother would say
The blue ones are neet as all heck but P. metallica's sister P. regalis is still my fave, but I could be swayed looking at my tigris and metallica grow up

I notice no one said P murinus yet

P. murinus, is my all time fave.

I also like many of the other African species. . .and Brachypelma species.

Hopefully I'll have more OBTs soon.

My female has double clutched. . .hopefully she'll wrap the eggs right this time and they won't dry out.

Was she bred Khris?? sometimes an infertile sac will dry up or the female may eat it.
Humidity is not too much of a factor with OBT's, they seem to do better in a less humid enclosure. If it is too humid she may not wrap them well...and even in a humid enclosure they can dry out.
Good luck and get ready to feed around 100 1/3" to 1/2" slings.
they grow FAAAASSSST to

She was bred awhile ago, laid one sac, but didn't wrap it right. The silk was really thick in some places and see-through thin in others. Her enclosure is bone dry, with a water dish. Lately she's been digging around and laying a lot more webbing than usual, so I should be seeing eggs soon.

I think I'm all ready for OBT slings! And I'm hoping they grow quick! I hate messing with the wingless fruit flies and pinhead crickets the tiny slings eat. I guess that's better than prekilling larger prey. . .but not by much.

They will take #2 crix with no problem at all, or crix as big as they are and in two meals they shed...cool hunh??
