Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Breeding questions?
I am new to the Leopard Gecko rage but I have certainly joined in. I am breeding my geckos for the first time and I am trying to absorb as much information as possible but I still have questions. OK so here goes my question........ my female laid her first two clutches of eggs 21 days apart but her last clutch was laid in 15 days. I have read everywhere that it takes 3-4 weeks to lay a clutch. So do you think these eggs are infertile? They appear the same size as the normals and I have tried candling but I just can't tell. So is that normal for a leo to lay eggs that close together? Will she keep at that pace or will it vary?? And yes she is with a male.
Thanks for any help you can give me !

I would not worry about it at all. " I have read everywhere that it takes 3-4 weeks to lay a clutch" I think it's more like 2 -3 weeks and thats right where your at.
Good Luck !

I've seen them go as low 10 days and as long as 6 weeks, between clutches. Always incubate, just in case, you never know what you may find.

I have read that if you incubate for females it takes 65 days for them to hatch. Does this sound about right? Is that a hard and fast rule or does this also vary? LOL I am so excited to see my first baby it seems like forever !
Thanks,
Stephanie

I've had alot of girls dropping fertile eggs every 10 days. Nutrition and mating play a part also. I think the longest I experienced was 18 days.

Brian, Those longer times that I've seen have always been on first year breeders and only between the first and second clutch, then all fallowing clutches at 2 weeks.
82 degrees is about 65 days, you really don't want to incubate lower than that as it tends to hatch weaker babies. Each degree higher knocks off a few days. At 85 degrees mine tend to hatch at about 42-48 days.

Actually those I had three first year females that were on 10 day rotations. The least amount of eggs I got out of a first year was 6 clutches this year. I also had several girls (first years) produce in the upper twenties.

Wow upper twenties is alot ! This is my female's first year breeding so it sounds like she is off to a good start. I am keeping my incubator set at 82 all the time and waiting patiently. Thanks for all your comments they have been very helpful. Please feel free to share.

That was eggs not clutches. The point is that you need to be prepared just incase.
