Blake Sheldon joke about killing turtles

mannnn i been doing that to people thinking it was a good thing... only cause of the 'great post' comment on it... shoot. Newbie mistake.. Sorry, is there a way to take it back???

right, and some of us found it rather offensive, enough so to come post here about it. So, to me, it feels like you are laughing at us getting offended. Then people start feeling personally attacked and it spirals into what this is turning into. Everyone (including yourself) is entitled to an opinion. You thought it was a silly joke, understood. Personally, the joke itself wasn't so offensive but rather his comments afterwards towards those that were offended that I didn't like.

Also, regarding Karma. It's a way for people to give feedback on what they think of your posts. Your karma alone does not make your 'rep'. Your rep is what you make of it by your postings and business deals. When I check someone's 'rep' on here, I check the BOI and their trader ratings. Karma is a side function of the forum. Inhumane slaughtering methods are an entirely different matter. The beef and poultry industries are there to fulfill a need: Food. I've done the same.

I didn't bother reading BS's comment until those links were posted and, really, his responses to people prove he's garbage. I don't care what money he has donated to animal rights organizations, as he stated that to thump on his own chest in a gleaming display of his epic awesomeness.

He very easily could have ended that outrage by apologizing and stating it was a poorly thought out joke. Instead, he berates people further and basically mocks them for caring about the fact he may have dilberately harmed an animal for no logical reason other than sadistic pleasure.

When thousands of people are watching you and you say something stupid, don't hack off your feet, grilll them up and chow down. Learn some humility.

Ok so i was going to be done with this all and let it be. But then steve said this. Did you read the links that you posted? The one post was done before blake tweeted about it. the other one at the apts says they have family problems nothing about blake shelton did it so they did it too. the last one about killing turtles they dont even know who did it. yeah it sucks that those turtles ACTUALLY died for kids amusement. im not saying kids should go out and kill animals just to laugh at their death.
