Is this the guy whose website says:

"Although I must say that I have occasionally kept some wild caught animals in my collection, nowadays I do not encourage collection of any kind of animals from the wild, especially for pet trade purposes. I believe animals should be caught from the wild only for conservation purposes."

Neither got jail time:

It’s really hard to believe that all they got was probation, house arrest, and fines. They literally flew over half way across the world just to poach and smuggle a couple dozen lizards. What a sad day for hobbyists and conservationists.
