Talking Sand Boa babies!

I have two expecting boa mommies almost ready to pop, and I can't wait! I'll post pictures if you guys want to see them!

They're 7th generation CB, I believe! Yay!

Cool. Don't know much about them. What locale or ssp are they? How many babies do they usually have? Live or eggs? Just curious

Thanks for sharing

Cool! There are 9 boas in that colony all together, so they keep each other quite busy!

We have an older colony as well, but they're well into their teens, so this young one will be carrying on the legacy and genetics for us!

Kenyans, mostly... although I believe there are a few Tanzanians mixed in. Not a big deal seeing as they're the same snake. Slight color difference.

Live, definitely... and they can have MANY babies. I think our largest was somewhere around 40+. The last bundle of joy was around 32, I think, which is more normal for our older colony. And one of our oldest females produced about 20... two-ish months ago.

Anyway, I'm excited... despite the fact that I'll have soooo many new mouths to feed! :P
