Ball Pythons on Ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=10876

I got a big kick out of this, It would be a good deal for an adult girl if anyone lives near by and can inspect this animal.

OMG that cage is disgusting!
I'd like to go by just to smack the owner in the head for keeping the snake in those conditions.

I sent an email via eay requesting approval as a possible bidder, and I also asked if I could inspect the snake in person. I'll fill you in if they grant an inspection.

Best regards,
GB

Greetings!

Bidder approval on this item is set to restricted because all bidding takes
place on Business & Industrial Live Online Auctions, a collaboration between
BidSpotter.com and eBay Business & Industrial <http://ebay.bidspotter.com>.
Bidding approval for individual auction webcasts are handled by the auction
house conducting the live auction. Most auction houses list their terms &
conditions, so you know what is required to be approved to bid.

This auction is being offered LIVE on September 16th, 2003 from New York
City, on Business & Industrial Live Online Auctions, a collaboration between
BidSpotter.com and eBay Business & Industrial (http://ebay.bidspotter.com).

All bids are processed in real-time, as if you are at the auction location.
You may also listen
to the auctioneer call the sale.

Shipping/rigging/packing is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Any questions regarding inventory or bidder approval status should be
directed to the auctioneer conducting the sale. In this case, it is
Acoustilog, Inc. Their email address is af@acoustilog.com and the telephone
number is 1 212) 925-1365

You will need to register with B & I Live Online Auctions, if you are not
already a BidSpotter.com registrant. Your eBay user ID will not work on this
site.

To register, go here:
http://ebay.bidspotter.com/forms/sig...p?eventid=1123

You will need to follow all instructions noted in the terms & conditions for
this sale.

If you have any questions on how our system works, go here:

Best regards,

Jeff Harris, CEO

BidSpotter, Inc.
Well that was the reply I received, automated I would guess. I am not too sure I want to register for bidspotter.com but if I do, I'll again ask to see the beastie.

Um.. did Ebay change their rules? If not, they should be notified because they'll pull the auction. Last I heard no one is allowed to sell living animals through that page.

He might have found a loophole by using bidspotter instead of just posting it on ebay.
