Hi George, yes, a 4' x 1.5' x 1.5' is great for a pair of adults, and I would keep the babies in something smaller, no larger than 40 gallon...most of my adults are in 3' x 18" x 18". There's been a flood of interest in these guys, I suppose because they're very rare in this country. I'm not sure but I may be the only one in the US with breeding age adults... they originated in Europe and I imported mine; although I know some other breeders do have them advertised, I haven't seen evidence of true Blue Panthers here. Most breeders wait until the babies are ready to go before offering them for sale, but I decided to try a system of taking deposits. The deposit is non-refundable unless of course it ends up that I don't have babies to offer, for example if you want a male and female but there aren't enough of each gender to offer a pair. I'm hoping this will avoid a last-minute crush that would disappoint people who weren't able to pounce in a timely way (this has happened to me many times - I don't "live" online the way younger folks seem to, so I wanted a means of being fair to everyone). This way people who are serious can secure a reservation in advance if desired. Females will be $300, males $275, with pairs for $550. Plus shipping if not picked up.
