I only raised the question BECAUSE I know they are highly toxic to BDs and if his lizards are as sensitive to them as BDs, that could be the cause of the mysterious deaths. Lightning bugs seem to have come on pretty strong around here the last couple weeks, making them suspect in the fatalities above.

The only reason I stated lightning/firefly beetles were toxic and should never be used as feeders was because without first inquiring about the OP's husbandry and the feeders he
is using, you asked if they were as sensitive to fireflies as dragons,
implying he might be using them as feeders.
Because those particular beetles are known toxic to
all reptiles, and not just dragons; since you only asked if his Anolis might be as sensitive to them as Bearded Dragons; I only wished to pass on that information, not to offend your experience or knowledge.
