Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I don't have any reptile dreams, but here is a story that might help one of you out there reading some day. Many years ago, like back when the dead sea was only sick, I used to work at a pet store in Gainesville, Florida called Hogtown Herpetological Supply. They closed down some time later, and have recently reopened as Hogtown Reptiles in the same city. Anyway, I used to live in a loft up above the pet store, and at night would listen to the many noises of about 5,000 specimens we had on hand at any one time. We had arachnids, including death stalker scorpions, we had cobras, gaboon vipers, of which I had the wonderful experience of tubing one time with metronidazole to stiumulate appetite, and several 14-17' pythons along with everything in between. We even had Madagascar hissing cockroaches, with which we once had a gross-out contest to see who could get the most in their mouth. I didn't participate, but was very impressed with one of the young ladies who managed to get 9 in her os (Latin for mouth, hence, the expression P.O. for Per Os, as in NPO meaning Nil Per Os, or nothing by mouth).
Anyway, one night I was getting ready to hit the sack when I climbed up the ladder to my loft. As I was getting ready to pull back the covers, I noticed something move underneath them. Since we did have a spitting cobra on inventory, I figured better safe than sorry. I went back downstairs, found a set of safety goggles and a snake hook along with a bag, and went back up to bedside. After donning the goggles and getting in the best defensive position I could manage, I quickly flipped back the covers. There, curled up in a nice couple of loops was a friend from Australia, a jungle carpet python (I think they are from down under if I remember correctly - I have been out of the herp scene for about a decade, so please have patience with me as I actually do know a little bit about something, but just remembering causes my little brain to cramp and makes me crave gummy bears something fierce)
So there is my little story from way back when. Hope y'all enjoyed it and if you are going to bed with anything that could potentially cause injury or death, it is a word to the wise to always be prepared to find something in the bed you would like to have in a cage. Good day.

I have had only one that I can remember(this year at least) and it was about a big ol' gator chasing me in the river thats across from my house. All other reptile dreams have been fairly good ones. 95% of those good dreams are finding all these crazy snake morphs out in the wild, not just one but dozens at a time every where. There is no telling how many times I have waken up and being so disappointed that it wasn't real

Nice story, glad you could dredge out the old brain cells long enough to share it!

Yes, actually! I always have nightmares that there are a ton of snakes that I can't take care of, like 25-50 little wormlings. Once I dreamt that I had an entire tank full of 10 hatchlings that I had simply forgotten I had for 6 months.
