G.Pulchripes housing.

Hello all, first post after browsing around for a couple days. I hope this is the right place for this

I'll be getting a 3" Grammostola Pulchripes female on Thursday, and a debate came up today. She'll be coming in a 10 gallon glass tank, with a screen lid and appropriate decor. I've read they prefer smaller spaces, and that things like Kritter Keepers work well, so would it be better to move her into one of those?

I also have another tank I was given, again glass with a screen lid, that measures 8x8x8. Would this be an appropriate tank for her? I don't think so with the height and lack of floor space, but if more experienced keepers say it would work/work better I won't argue saving money :P

So far I've enjoyed what I've seen of the community and I look forward to being part of it!

A little update.

Just a small update on this;

I've looked around some more, and I think the small-size "Lee's Herp Haven Breeder Box" would be a good fit for my space and what the spider would be comfortable in. Probably going to go with one of those, unless someone recommends otherwise.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

A new twist!

This should be my last post here, as I don't think it'll need much response after this;

The person who gave me the 8x8x8 is purchasing another spider, and in an effort to keep their collection a certain size, will be giving me a Brachypelma Auratum! She said the spider should be comfortable in the tank for a while, so that saves space and money.

This is turning out to be a pretty neat little adventure.

I'll make another post regarding the Flame Knee should the need arise
