As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Sulcata Tortoise Size Regulations
I am just curious since there has been so much talk about the incident at the Daytona Show over turtles being sold under 4". Does anyone know what the laws are here in California? Is there a minimum size requirement to sell them?

4" is federal law.

I'm curious - I haven't read or heard anything about an incident at the Daytona show regarding turtles under 4 inches (in fact, I haven't heard anything about that show anywhere!). What happened?
