Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

For Curiosity
Most everyone that uses Fauna either has reptiles, amphibians, etc. or sells them.
But what are our real jobs, how many make their living entirely with reptiles and how many do both. Let us know what you do.
I work at a restaraunt as a manager/server full time. I am also a full time dad to a little girl and a step dad to 1 boy and 2 other girls. I also just opened my new pet store where I work full time and re-edit home videos and burn them out to dvd's. I also do classes in the local school system.

I am a senior financial analyst.
I make a decent salary and bonus so the herps are more of a hobby/fascination/passion for me.

Reptiles is my hobby. My main jobs is that I work at local pet stores to help out part time and I am self employed in real estate. I get most of my money from the real estate, but I enjoy working with animals so I do that as well.
