Is this healthy weight loss?

Alright guys, so one of my het albino girls that I'd been hoping to breed this season has been off feed since around mid June. She has always been a great feeder for the most part. She'll have an occasional meal skip but is usually one of my best feeders. Anyway, she was around ~1340 grams at that time. I just weighed her and she is at 1196 g. Is she just going on a fast at the worst time possible or might there be something else up? She doesn't appear to be unhealthy and seems to be displaying normal behavior. She's kept in a V70 tub with a hot spot of 90 degrees and also has a hide in her enclosure as well. I've heard of balls going on even longer fasts and not losing that much weight.

Thats a pretty substantial weight loss for the time period, are you sure you didn't get a "full weight" the first time and an empty weight the 2nd time?

I very well could have. I try to weigh empty but sometimes I miss I'm sure. She isn't really acting funny, other than not eating. She did appear a little larger then however, but that is merely an opinion.

So she was 1340 in mid-June and is 1196 now in October? She's totally fine. I usually have much more substantial weight losses in some of mine that go off feed for whatever reason. When you have over 100 grams/month weight loss from an adult non-feeder, then it's time to suspect something else might be going on.

I wouldn't be alarmed. If she is a good feeder you probably had a full or semi full weight when you took it in June. The snake has defacated everything out by now. It sucks for breeding but if she appears healthy there is no cause for concern.
