Can anyone help me out with Brooksi genetics?
I'm talking about different form of hypo---such as regular, peanut butter?, etc. Gene comes---what's a pearl, snow, ghost, etc? What do you get when you combine axanthic and hypo together in a snake? Ghost? Snow?
If there's a website out there I haven't been able to find it, but would appreciate any help on the subject.
A lot of questions there and i really don't know where to begin. Just ask and maybe I can follow up later.
Hypo x axanthic/anery = Ghost
anery/axanthic x lavender albono = snow
Peanut butter gene is new and test breeding are still needed to find out what is going on with the gene. I bred a PB to an amel and got what I call "Jellies" . They were supposed to be normal looking hets. Also bred the PB gene to other traits and it does not appear to be a codom. The Ultra corn is codom with amel only since they are on the same locus. I assume this is what is going on with the PB.
Other breedings I have done with floridana:
PB x whitesided
PB x anery/axanthic
Still waiting on these Double hets to breed in '07. I already decided to call the anery/axanthic x PB 1/16 double homo a Phantom brooksi.
I have been working with brooksi (floridana) for a long time. So any questions just ask.
