I have talked to many people within the last 6 months to find why people do not keep ringneck snakes more often. It came down to 3 reasons as to why, their size, their shyness and the fact that some can be difficult to get feeding. One good way to make a snake not be so shy, and get bigger, is to get it eating on a regular schedule every few days. I know how you can get them to eat, salamanders, if you have the northern sub-species, the prairie sub-species, the southern sub-species or the mississippi sub-species, salamanders are the key for success. Drop me an email at
Helmz777@aol.com and let me know what size ringneck snake you have, and I will have the perfect size for it. Salamanders cost anywhere from $1 to $4 each, depending on size and the number you want. No ringneck snake is too small to get food for.
For those of you who keep the western sub-species of ringneck snakes, I have a solution, small snakes, ringneck snakes from the western parts of the United States favor snakes and small lizards over everything and anything. Email me and let me know what size ringneck you have, and I'll have the perfect size for it, no ringneck snake is too small to get food for. The snakes are $2 to $5 each, depending on size and the number that you want.
Trades are considered.
