venomous snake license

I have been wanting a green vine snake and i know that they are a little venomous but do i need a license in texas to have one? I have seen them at a pet store listed as just another snake but at reptile shows they have the red venom banned around there cup.

not sure about the laws in Texas regarding venomous. Many places do not regulate rear-fangs.

The green vine snake is a rear-fanged snake; some would consider them venomous, others would consider them "just another snake."
I would consider them venomous, although not particularly dangerous.
Even though they are rear-fanged snakes that are unlikely to cause a problem, there is a chance of an allergic reaction to the venom or interactions between the venom and any medications you may be taking.
Just something to consider.
