Nice pic Al. So I should be expecting my steaks when? I wish my hunt was that good. Seeing 6 deer in two days was not what i had in mind. Nor did I think 13 people hunting on 80 acres was a great plan either but until I hit the lotto and can buy my own land I guess I have to hunt with who ever the land owner lets hunt Next year I think I'll just stick with duck hunting, I seem to be doing OK in that area..

Here's the picture of what I bagged the first season:

That's right . . .SKUNKED!!!!

I didn't see a thing to shoot at. Three deer (or rather, parts thereof) running through the brush, and an albino doe (this year's fawn) that I am trying to keep alive to spread the genes around. I would REALLY like to have an albino wall hanger one of these days!

It was warm here in Missouri the first season, but our second season (Dec 13-21) ought to be much cooler. Maybe that will get the deer moving?!?!? The whole State's deer kill numbers were down, so I wasn't the only one with unfilled tags, at least! I'll be bow hunting after gun season too.

More to follow . . .I hope!
